Sushi cushions

My dear friend Nancy recently bought her own house. All by herself.

She is one of my sushi friends from work, we love going out for lunch for a chat and sushi.

When I saw this fabric, I just had to make her something. Cushion covers were perfect for her new home.

I also made her a card, and am so pleased how it turned out (using fabric scraps from this dress)

Good bye, Guitar man

This week Chris had his last guitar lesson with Mike before he moves back to the USA. Chris has been having guitar lessons with Mike, on and off, for over 3 years now. I can tell he has learnt a lot as his guitar playing is so different now.

As a little thank you for Mike, I made these cushion covers for him. Good luck on your new adventure Mike!

Sewing in the New Year

Happy New Year!

I spent my New Year sewing Abbey a new cover for her europe sized pillow. One side flowers, the other butterflies. Lots of pink. Of course.

It matches her room perfectly.
